SAPA Fundraising Examples
Pleasures of the Palate is our single largest fundraising event. Held each spring, this event features a sit down dinner, exciting drawings,and live auctions. Each family is requested to purchase two tickets to this gala.
SCRIP, SAPA’s second largest fundraiser, is a program of gift certificates provided by various retailers, restaurants, and other vendors. SAPA purchases these certificates in volume at a discounted price and then resells them at face value. SCRIP is then used as if it were cash. Parents can use their Raley’s/Bel Air Quality of Life cards to donate a percentage of their purchases to our school. E-SCRIP is also another way to help by purchasing online from a large roster of well-known vendors.
The annual Magazine Drive raises money each fall. Students sell magazine subscriptions or renewals and SAPA earns 50% of the sales.
