Ways of Giving

There are several ways to make a tax-deductible gift to St. Albans Country Day School.

  • Check: Please make checks payable to St. Albans Country Day School and send to:

  • Credit Card: St. Albans accepts donation charged to VIA, MasterCard, and Discover. DONATE TODAY
  • Workplace Giving: Workplace giving programs allow employees to make donations to non-profits directly from their payroll and designate the recipient organization. If your employer offers a workplace giving program, please designate St. Albans Country Day School to receive the funds, and inform our Development Office. Kaiser Permanente and PG&E are examples of organizations that offer workplace giving programs.
  • Matching Gifts: Many companies offer matching gifts to employees and retirees. You can double your gift if you or your spouse works for a company with a matching gift program. Please check with your human resources office for information about matching gifts. You may also call the Development Office for assistance to determine if your employer will match your gift
  • Gifts of Stock or Appreciated Securities: If you give appreciated securities to St. Albans, there are two benefits. First, you avoid paying capital gains taxes on the amount of the appreciation. Second, you can still deduct the full amount of the current value of the stock as a charitable income tax donation.

To make a gift of stock, instruct your stockbroker to electronically transfer your stock to the St. Albans account at:

Also note: number of shares; name of company; date of transfer; your stockbroker’s name and phone number; and designation of your gift to the 2015-16 Annual Fund.
