Parent Participation Points

Parent points are required by all families at St. Albans, they are essentially volunteer hours. One hour of volunteer work will earn you one parent point. Part of the registration agreement is to fulfill 35 parent point hours. Field trips, helping in the classroom, school work days, helping with SAPA events, can all help to earn these points.  You can also find and sign up for volunteer opportunities on SignUp.                 

Parent Points will be updated on the Family Portal at the end of each month and will include a date of service and specific description about how your points were earned. Families will still report points to SAPA in the same way as we have always done, only how you view your points has changed.

Parent Participation Points will be viewable in your FACTS Family Portal. To see your families earned points:

·         Login to your Facts Family Portal

·         CLICK FAMILY from the menu choices on the left.

·         Select FAMILY HOME from the drop down menu on the left.

·         If you don’t see points listed, you may need to toggle which parent is showing. (Top bar titled "Family Members." Drop down arrow. Points are shown under parent names, not student names.)

Parent Participation Points will be listed just to the right of your contact information and is titled "Service Hours."
